Cedar Park Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support each child's learning and development in a way that feels natural and fun. Through play and meaningful interactions, we help children grow in key areas such as:
Communication and Language - building confidence in expressing themselves Physical Development - encouraging movement and coordination through play Personal, Social & Emotional Development - helping children understand emotions, friendships, and independence
Our nursery is set in a secluded, spacious Grade 2 listed building, full of character and with a large outdoor garden creating a perfect environment for children to learn and play. Cedar Park provides plenty of learning opportunities in a nurturing and welcoming environment. Every single day we give your children opportunities to participate in a range of activities based around your child's needs and interests.
At Cedar Park Nursery we feel the children benefit so much from taking learning outside into our community. Our Community Champion's role includes providing opportunities for your child to explore places within the wider community such as local shops, local parks and woods. We love to extend the children's knowledge of the world around them.
We use a childcare platform app to keep parents connected, through this we share updates, observations and photos so you can always feel involved in your child's day. Your child's development is regularly reviewed, we take great care in supporting and understanding each child's progress and if additional support is needed, we act quickly. Early intervention for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is always a priority, ensuring every child gets the help they need to thrive.
At Cedar Park Nursery, we put children at the heart of everything we do. Our caring and experienced team works together to create a stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Our garden is designed to enable children to explore outdoors and support their physical development. We have weekly sessions delivered by external providers such as sport, dance, drama and music to help children learn different skills and development in many key areas.
